Christmas Is Coming!

Such a sad little face!  I think she's still getting used to her new prescription allergy pills:
I was sick for weeks and kept thinking it would go away or get better if I tried this or that.  I even tried treats and puppy cuddles.  No luck:

These two think they can sneak up on our bed and we won't kick them off.  NO LUCK suckers!:
This was my pile of meds.  I drank almost an entire bottle of cough syrup in a few days.  My pee smelled like cough syrup!  HAHAHA:
Our first Christmas card of the season!  YAYAYYYY:
Ruger wanted to sit super close to me so I would pet him.  Well, he sat so close that he ended up rubbing his butt down my leg as he slid off to sit on the floor.  SO GROSSSSSS!!!  I had a poop skid mark down my jeans!! YUCK!!!:
I finally gave up and called the doctor's office.  He put the stethoscope to my lungs and said I needed a chest xray.  I think he was as surprised as I was that my lungs didn't have fluid in them.  He put me on an antibiotic since I was coughing for a couple months and I tried everything else on my own.  I've gotten much better since this, but I still have a little lingering cough that's getting better little by little:
See!  They tried to sneak up again!:
I made this wreath for my grandma Foster.  When she went into the nursing home my mom gave it back to me.  I put it out each year:
I was trying to get a few decorations out so it would feel a little like the holidays around our house:
I put fake candles around it so I could see it lit up in the front room even though we hardly ever have the lights on in that room:
I got a new dress and leggings.  Honestly, I took this picture because I thought I looked rather hippy and chunky in the dress (yes, that's what was in my brain).  I like the length and it feels so comfy to wear:
We used our $120 in Kohls cash for new pots and pans I've been waiting for for years:
I put a frozen solid trip tip in the oven and it turned out pretty good!!:
Silly girl is sleeping on my slippers instead of her comfy bed:
Santa came around our neighborhood again!!:

Bed time!

I told Doug about this cool gadget Becky saw at Costco!  It has a ton of features and would be great to take camping and it's only $80:

Paint Class

It was time for our painting class!  Doug came later in the day after he finished work.  I went early since there was a craft fair going on:
There was a small ice rink in the center of the old part of the city:

These bags were really well made and not too expensive!  I almost bought one, but then decided to take pictures to remember them later:

The lady at the craft fair also had tons of these little coin purses.  So cute!  Great idea for a good stash if I ever have time to make a ton of stuff and open an online shop:
Painting time!  There was an outline of the snowman we would be painting.  The instructor would change the bird to a wine glass or hot cocoa if people wanted something different than the bird:
Paints ready to go:
Mine:
Doug's - it looks like his snowman is flipping me off:
Mine!!  I'm pretty proud of this!!
Doug took some creative license to change his.  LOL!!  The instructor came over and jokingly said, "We're okay over here, right??!!?":

Heading back to our cars so we can try to catch to Christmas parties on the way home.  We stopped for a selfie:

This was at the first Holiday party. They had a yummy dinner of pulled pork, cole slaw, rolls, etc and the entire room was decorated as the Charlie Brown theme.  It was so cute!:
We didn't make it in time to the second party.  We were there when they were almost done cleaning up.  One of the kids flung a bag of wiffle balls on top of the stage area.  Doug could reach the bag using the pole and a rickety table.  It was great to watch everyone watch:

Can't Believe It's December!

Thanksgiving survivors!

Waiting for a train to go by so I could get to work:
More crazy turkeys in the afternoon too:
I got flowers for my 10th work anniversary.  They're really pretty!!:

I made a stop at Target to get some Christmas books and on my way to the register I saw this. HAHA!!:
Lesson learned.  No air high fives with Ruger.  He'll do them, but it'll leave a mark!:
Pitiful face:
Winnie bounced up onto the couch and stared at me.  WHAT?!?!  I think this is her, "Haha, I'm on the couch and I'm not supposed to be" face:
Still experimenting with Winnie's food and supplements and over the counter allergy pills to see if we can get her skin issues under control.  Poor Winnie:
She'll be bald soon at this rate:
Yet another free lunch Friday at work - YUMMMM pasta!!:
There's a theme for each Friday - this was twin day:
Crazy peeps:
Check up time and time to get Winnie some relief:
The tech took Winnie in the back for her shots and heart worm test.  Then they took Ruger back.  It felt like forever!  They brought Ruger back and Winnie was still back there - not sure why.  I heard her crying.  Winnie does NOT cry, so it worried me.  The tech said she was fine, but cried after they took Ruger away.  We were leaving, but there was a large black lab in the lobby that barked and Ruger and Winnie lost it!!  They got grounded to their room until the other lab was put in a room and we could check out:
I saw a hot air balloon over the city on our way home from the vet:
After shots, tests and poking and prodding they were happy to sunbathe in the bedroom.  Poor things weren't feeling great after their shots:
