Kettle Corn & Date

I wish Doug would have seen this guy in our backyard.  He really likes birds of prey, specifically falcons.  I'm guessing this is the hawk that dropped the cat paw in our yard:

This picture is out of order, but it's my new coworkers before I left during my week of training in January.  I actually get to see them again next week!  YAY!:
Saving this cute I Love Lucy apron I hope to remember to make some day:
These sound so yummy!  Now I just need a campfire!!
Another sporadic workout.  I need to get and stay consistent!  Especially since I work from home!:
A friend posted to type your name into Urban Dictionary. This is one of the definitions listed for April:
A cool name, given to a girl. Appears to contain the magical property of forcing others to ask the same question when it is first heard, regardless of good sense.
"Hey, what's your name?"
"April." ...
"Oh, so were you born in April?"
"Shut up."
While on the phone with a sales consultant and my dog farts. As soon as I hang up the phone this song is playing.
"Now, now, now, let me clear my throat
Oh, have mercy babe, ha!
I hope you don't mind
Let me clear my throat”

I took a picture of this truck because someone locked their dog in the car at the movie theater.  I don't care what's going on or what the temperature is, if you're going to a movie DO NOT leave your poor dog in the car!!  I don't think some people realize they CAN leave their dog AT HOME:
I waited until Breanna posted this picture to share it. She mentioned we didn’t get a picture during our double date movie outing on Feb 2nd, so I made one. As she puts it she and Ben have sexy bods, Doug shrunk about 2 feet and is black and I’m a middle aged fat man. HAHAHAH (I’m dead sexy!!) She’s not bummed we didn’t get a picture now. PS Jumanji is a fun movie!:
With our faces:
Pups on an adventure.  I'm pretty sure we were returning a movie to the Redbox:

I never think about other people collecting the same tiny things I do, but a woman in a nearby city does... or did. I saved this picture from her Facebook post selling these items because I needed that tiny horse to replace the one I broke.  The woman who bought the items ended up sharing some of them with me, but not the tiny horse.  I have the duck, penguin and seal:
You see these pictures below??!! They don't help me a lot since I didn't save the actual recipe.  This was my most successful batch of kettle corn. It looks like 1/2 cup of kernels and 1/2 cup of sugar.  I remember using vegetable oil this time, but I don't remember how much or when I added the sugar to the mixture.  Oh well, I'll try again soon:

I got another work out in!! Not very exciting, really:

Ruger = 5 Years

Ruger's 5th year with us was on Feb 2nd.  Here are his progression pictures we take every year:  2013, 2016 and 2018

Here are some before and after of our little "jailbird Joey" too:

He looks like he kicked Winnie's head backwards:
Wasn't he so adorable!!!!!!:

2013

2018 - Winnie wanted to take pictures too:

Another Winnie before and now:

She's getting a white mustache:

Homemade Bubbles

Look at this fancy sunset!! So pretty!  We don't see colors like this very often in Winter:
I saw this online and wanted to save it, so here it is.  It's a good reminder for me to just breathe and let some things go:
I lost some friends when I left the company I was working for in December.  I sent a long apology to one of them and the others decided to stop being my friends because of what they heard.  No one ever asked me about things that happened, but it was all blamed on me because someone decided to run their mouth.  I'm sure all their faults and things were blamed on me too, so at this point it is what it is and I'm letting it go.  I've apologized and that's all I can do for now.  I did hurt someone close to me, but I can't make up for it if they won't let me reach out.  Unfortunately I didn't heed this warning many, many months and even years ago and I paid a price for it.  I wasn't a good friend to someone I should have been and I let someone crap all over our friendship numerous times and always forgave and moved forward.  Boy did I get burned.  I won't make that mistake again:
I think a lot of the drama came about because of jealousy and insecurities.  I was always trying to hide it when people said I did a good job, or if people pointed me out during a conversation. I should have been smarted and gotten away from friends that didn't want me to succeed and instead did what they did to bring me down and ruin friendships.  I can only hope that friend can learn a lesson so they don't end up alone and lonely because of the way they treat people they supposedly love.

I'm going to do my best to learn from MY mistakes and become a better person.  I say MY mistakes because I won't take responsibility for the bitterness and anger that friend had/has and used to hurt me and people around me.  I found this quote online and I really like it.  I'm going to use that experience to un-become that person that made those mistakes and move forward with the true person I am:
Enough about that drama, how about some cute bees working in our little orchard!:

Winnie was sniffing the grass for a long time and it was odd because she usually only goes on the grass to do her business.  I found this nasty thing on our lawn.  I think it's a cat paw, probably dropped by a hawk. YUCK!!!!:
This is a different picture to show why I think it's a cat paw - so gross!:
I'm sure you're well aware that I like to watch the sunset and sunrise colors constantly.  They can change from minute to minute, so you never know what it'll look like.  This is the same sunset just minutes apart:

Blueberry muffins!  Yummmm!  Some day I might try making these from scratch, but for now they are from a box.  These are such a easy, but small, breakfast for Doug to grab on his way out the door:
I used bubbles to exercise the dogs a lot over the last few months.  I ran out of bubbles, so I looked up some recipes.  This one was really easy and it made great bubbles!  The only drawback was the sugar in it made the bubble gun a little sticky.  #5 below:

Testing Testing...

Yep he likes it! HAHAHAH:
