Another successful attempt at a home fix. The RainX windshield repair kit works really well! I had 2 good sized chips and this kit did the trick to repair them.
Chip before:
Chip/crack before:Taking the repair kit out of the package to figure out how to use it:
Lining up the plunger:
Chip after - it's a lot harder to see, so it was hard to get a picture. I put a piece of paper behind it to try to get a better picture:
Chip/crack after - I can barely see it:
Looking into the vehicle; still can't see the crack. There are some small chips that I filled in too:
Small ring left in the first chip:
This picture is pretty funny because Doug let our friends use the while they were having car trouble. Our friend, Noush, ran it over while it was still connected to her battery. WHOOPS!! LOL!!!!:
Car wash time! I always like the foam on the windows:
I have no clue what this driver was doing when this happened. My best guess is they were driving too fast and lost control, hit a tree and ended up facing almost the opposite direction:
Ruger the long-neck. He likes to drink out of the faucet:
The same vehicle above. Picture from the local police department. The speed limit here is 40mph:
When I spend decent money on something I want to make sure I get my money's worth and all the product I can out of it. I broke open this face cream pump to make sure I got every dime I could. This was a tough bottle to break open:
There were about 2 more uses in each side of the pump so I was glad I opened it. lol:
Look at our newest buddies!! Jaxson Baker:

Pretty glow of an evening sunset:
Our latest dog food experiment - baby food added to Winnie's meals:
She was a fan of the sweet potatoes for about 2 seconds:
She liked to lick the jar, but I don't think it was because it tasted good to her. I think she thought she would find something better inside:
These are Skittles that are about 13 years old vs new Skittles:
My mom got me this jelly bean jar a long time ago and filled it with candy as a gift for me. I've never opened or taken any of the Skittles out of the lid. I decided to do a comparison. Doug actually tasted one of them and said it wasn't too bad. LOL
Late adventure out with the beasties:
Tired and resting nose to nose. They are really cute sometimes:
Enjoying a summer morning while Ruger plays in the pool:
Date afternoon at the Cheesecake Factory with Les and Noush:
On our way home from our double date we made it to Nothing Bundt Cake to get our free cake. These things are so yummy!:
