2/17-2/19

We got a lovely letter from our HOA.  They disapproved of our stumps, so we had to deal with them.  This is our quick fix of the problem.  It didn't feel quick, but we were able to
We spent most of the time digging up the stumps, then put down weed cloth:

Bark time!  Luckily there was a sale!:

All done!  A few bushes survived our cutting, chopping and chainsaw, so we left them to grow.  One was tiny and died when I sprayed it with weed/grass killer.  It looks good, hopefully it'll look this good for a while!:
After a hard day of yard work we went to Top Golf for a UPS function.  I don't play golf and I certainly don't like to look dumb in front of people, especially at a work function with Doug's coworkers and management:
Catered taco bar:
Look at Doug's foot!  HA!!  It looks like it's broken:

The UPS team Doug works with:
Me trying to hit the ball:
I didn't do too bad because the points still count if it rolls into a colored target:
Bed hogs!!
Sometimes they cuddle.  I love it when they do because Ruger can be a jerk to Winnie:
This pest is helping me with the frost blankets:
All covered and ready for a frozen night:
I could really use a meal like this right now!  Sometimes we make delicious food!  Many times it's something super easy with a few ingredients and quick.  This didn't take too long to make:

2/9-2/17

In the set of minis the woman bought on FB was a tiny horse.  The same horse I have, but broke years ago.  I found one on Etsy and ordered it.  The box came and the packaging was amazing for this tiny horse:

It's not much bigger than a dime! LOL  This time I'm not even going to attempt to remove the horse from the paper!  Last time it broker the legs:
I don't think I shared a picture of this whale statue yet.  We had a hard time finding one that matched our set while in Alaska.  We went on a boat ride to watch orcas and wanted something to remember it by. I was stalking this one online for months and they dropped the price by almost half, so I quickly bought it before the price went up:
Our mantle of vacation memories:
My box collecting madness moved from the garage into a bedroom.  I'm storing boxes so I can reduce the stuff we have and pack some things in the meantime:
We try to warn Winnie not to sleep too closely to Ruger's butt, but she doesn't listen:
I was cracking up when I saw her laying like this after taking the picture above:
A sunny day in February means time in the sun:
Rice Krispie Treats!  I needed to make some room on a shelf and using up the Rice Krispies was a price I had to pay. LOL:
This sweet Valentine's gift was left on our doorstep:
My new work setup.  This is where spend my days with the pups sleeping somewhere nearby.  It's nice to have it set up, but I'm sure I'll make changes here and there:

Doug bought me "flours" again this year for Valentine's Day.  Last year it was powdered donuts and this year cookies:
We started allowing this yay-hoos on the bed so Ruger would stay in bed after 5am.  It works, but they are bed hogs!!! And I'm not a fan of the dog fur on the bed.  We put a sheet down, but it only does so much:

2/6-2/8

These two sure love string cheese.  They don't get it often, so when they do they hear the package open they stare like this:
These are the miniatures a woman bought on a Facebook yard sale page.  When I showed interest in them this sweet woman offered to give me to minis she didn't want or need!  So awesome!  They're not quite what I was hoping for, but I was so thrilled with her kindness!
This guy is so cute when he walks around carrying this pink bunny.  Since I took this picture, the bunny is missing an ear and arm:
My mom started taking care of her skin recently, so I made some samples of different products to try.  This was my makeshift kit for her:
Sunset on the way home:
Here is a close up of the minis.  The skunk in the front is one of the originals:
Our floors are paid off!  My fancy schmancy thermometer is full!!  We tried really hard to beat the cut-off of one year interest free on the floor purchase and we did it!:
"Winnie, come inside.  Winnie, come inside..."  Nope, the sunshine is better than my company. HAHA:
Our little orchard.  The orange tree (left) has grown so much over the last couple years while I feel like the lemon tree (right) is shrinking:
I had an urge to make chocolate chip cookies for Doug while he was hard at work meeting homework deadlines.  I'm pretty sure I hate quite a bit of the dough:
This is what happened when I went to the dentist - my dentist gave me floss, toothpaste and a toothbrush and my mom gave me Valentine's Day candy.  It's an oxymoron in a picture!:
Cookies!! Baked and tasty!!:
More sunbathing for this silly pup.  Doesn't she have a hard life!?!?!
